On June 14 the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, H.R. 2773, 231 to 190. Northern Virginia Representatives Spanberger, Beyer, Wexton and Connolly voted for it.
The House of Delegates Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources Committee postponed consideration until 2021 of l H.B. 1727, a bill to legalize the operation of cat trap, neuter and return programs, programs under which people release unowned cats into the environment.
