You still have until Wednesday, March 1, at noon (Eastern Time) to enter your photographs or videos to Audubon’s 2023 Photography Awards Contest. You have to be at least 13 years old and have a parent or legal guardian’s permission to enter if you are younger than 18 years old. You can submit multiple photos or videos depicting birdlife in any form in one of the five following divisions: Professional, Amateur, Youth, Plants for Birds, and Videos. Complete rules for submission, as well as essential guidelines for ethical bird photography and videography, are available on the Audubon website.

If you need inspiration, you can view the 2022 winners.

If you don’t feel ready yet to enter but want an introduction to bird photography, join Matt Felperin on February 21 for a webinar on bird photography, with an optional February 25 field trip. You can find both on our website under Classes and Events.
