Meet in the parking lot near the boat ramp.

Most of the trail is grass or dirt, which may be wet in the morning, so hiking boots or other waterproof footwear is recommended.

Newer and seasoned birders welcome.  

If you have binoculars, please bring them with you.

Your birding guide is Matt Bender, an experienced bird walk leader with Reston Association and the Audubon Society of Northern Virginia.

Registration is recommended but not required. Registrants will get a reminder about the walk and will be notified via email if the walk is cancelled.
